In 2008, we're suppose to be getting a headily-made-over STS with the posibility of a STC/ETC... what would you like to see in the way of changes/upgrades?

Jesda 04-23-06, 09:51 PM How about a sharper front end? Maybe a little more A&S character. Revise the Northstar V8 to make 350horsepower or better and 400lbs ft of torque or close for better off-line acceleration and stronger pulling power accross the range. Still makes good power as-is though. ~*~ Shorten the body a little and shed a few pounds. It looks massive from certain angles & drives as big and heavy as it is (didn't realize it during the test drive). ~*~ Softer suspension setting!!! The Premium Luxury Performance pkg with the 18" wheels rides too damn stiff and gets uncomfortable after you've owned the car for a while. I love the 18's VS the 17's as far as looks go, but the "Touring" setting for the PLP pkg suspension definitely needs to be less jarring during normal driving. ~*~ A rear sun shade, power adjustable pedals, rear back-up camera & LED reverse lights similar to the reverse lights on the "LOWER PRICED" Cadillac DTS would be nice features. ~*~ Not really a complaint because i'm content with mine, but I guess the interior could be a little more jazzy. My girlfriend just bought an 06' GS300, and the interior design looks a little classier. soupero 04-25-06, 10:56 AM You know what I don't get, you guys (Americans) like the V8 (nothing wrong with it :p) but you guys aren't allowed to go faster than 80mph so what's the use of it and aren't the fines very high? "Aren't allowed" and "Don't do" are two completely seperate things. ;) lol don't get confused. For example, it's not uncommon to treat roads in Montana outside towns like the Autobahn, and it's not uncommon to see people wizzing through traffic (or non-traffic at night) on the freeways/highways or on desert and country roads at 100 MPH or above. | |
