Got a message today saying that the airbag needed to be serviced? Is there a sensor fopr this? How can I diagnosis the problem?

The car has 50K miles.

You need to run the codes on the car, because its an airbag, it will come under the SDM computer. See what comes up.

Ok I will do this.

Is this a common problem?

UPDATE

The service airbag light was coming on all day yesterday and the RED Airbag light on the dash was on as well.



Today, NO warning message, no red light.
