On the sides of the radiators there are plastic tanks, on top of these tanks there are 2 plastic pins that a bracket is used in conjunction with to mount the radiator. A crack developed around this pin/peg whatever it is and I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and if they found a quick fix. If not can you just get the side plastic tanks instead of buying the whole radiator.
I bought some stuff at the parts store that is in two seperate tubes and u mix it then apply it to the crack. Supposed to be some of the best stuff for plastic, idk. I just want to be able to drive it until I get a perm. fix.
I don't know what kind of epoxy you bought, but if I where to try anything, I'd go with JB Weld. I patched a crack on the pruge line nipple on the surge tank of my '97 Deville and it is still holding.
Yes, the side tanks are replacable.

I have used JB Weld on the radiator plastic tanks.... You must clean and degrease the plastic tank..... once it has been degreased and dry.... you have to prepare the surface of the tank for the JB Weld.... use some sand paper to scuff the surface of the tank, clean the surface again....apply a smooth layer of JB Weld to the crack and make sure that you spread it approximately 1/2 inch on either side of the crack, also make sure that you let it cure for a good 12 hrs... usually the JB Weld hardens in about 5 minutes but it takes a while to fully harden thru-out. I have worked with different materials like epoxy's, resin's and preparation of the surface is the most important factor.
good luck
