View Full Version : Maybe the first 06 to get a new diff

I dropped my V off in regards to a tire type sound rolling in neutral from any speed and becoming stronger at a near stop. Day and half later it was fixed much smoother now quiet and clunk is not nearly as bad at all. The first dealer I dropped it off with said that it was the tranny making the noise and it was normal. Kinda of funny when it's in neutral when I hear it so said and done I love the new diff for the new car. One more thing this started happening at 1,000 miles or so now have 5500.

1500 miles and I'm ok...just starting to "drive" it a little harder...

ive got 2000 and get on it from time to time...but no burn outs. Everything seems fine so far except for the missing vent plug.

is it actually a missing vent plug, or a leaky one?

So far so good on the diff, and I have done a few small burnouts, but nothing substantial.

I have a bigger problem though, burning oil.

4000 on mine, no problems, no burnouts, but some "spirited" driving here and there.
