Very interested in your impressions of the Magnaflow system when you get it installed. Thanks.

k no prob, mine is in the mail still, I'll post it up when I get it installed.

it might have a different tone on your engine, dunno if the ls2 has the same stroke as the ls6.

Not that I was asked but I like my so much that sometimes I drop my rear seats down just to hear it and just turn off the music. I made a road trip last weekend and I had no drone while driving around 80-90 on the interstate. Nice exhaust.

Thanks for jumping in with your opinion guys. Appreciate it. I am most concerned about any drone issues, typically at 75MPH in 6th. I realize that any drove issue is somewhat subjective....what one might be bothered by someone else might not even notice. I just don't want to be aggravated by a constant drone at highway speeds.

Looks like its going in tomorrow so we will see then!

60-65 seems to be the sweet (or sour) spot for drone in 6th. Nothing at 75.

The drone is easily covered by good music.:) Magnaflow exhaust is awesome and will turn a lot of heads guaranteed.

There's some drone at 60-65 if you are on any sort of upgrade, that's it. Shifting into 5th or changing speed fixes it but it's so slight it's not a bother.

It's a must have!

Shawn and the LAPD crew did a GREAT JOB on the installation and their pricing was fantastic! This mod is a NO BRAINER! It sounds amazing (not too loud-not too much drone). The powers is a little better and the Magnaflow weighs a lot less then factory exhaust. The tips on the Magnaflow are probably the best looking of all the aftermarket (except maybe the Corsa).

My thinking is this: $1100 for a Corsa OR $600 for Magnaflow and $400 for UUC shifter with a $100 left over.

There is a little drown in 6th at about 65 mph but who really cruises in this car at 65???? I noticed more power in gears 1-3 but was really impressed by the extra kick in 4th and 5th. NICE! The car looks and sounds great. You should not be disappointed. :bouncy:

Thanks Shawn! :worship:

BTW, Shawn also has a 2006 V so he knows his "stuff" on the mods. Now he needs to get rid of those ENORMOUS Borla tips and lower that puppy! :stirpot:

Hey guys, thanks so much for all your input! I really do appreciate it. A little drone at 60-65 is really no big deal as that would be my state highway cruising speed, I do much more freeway driving (trips) than I ever do state highways and freeway speed is usually 75 or so. Guess I call Shawn on Monday and pull the trigger! Thanks again guys!
