I think this was posted a long time ago, but I did a search and found nothing. Is it possible to do this? How would I go about doing it?
I found one on the CTS, you have to cut a wire on a module. Is this same module in the Eldorado? Where would it be located?

It doesn't list your 1997 ETC specifically, but maybe one of the other Caddy models is close enough. On my 2003 STS, it was a simple fuse.

look at post 2 and 12 2 will give instructions on how to get into the cars programming 12 will explain what to change to turn the drls off no hackin up the car wireing required!!!

I tried pulling my DRL fuse in the engine compartment and it didn't do anything. Haven't got around to try going into the computer.

Disable DRL by simple programming? Sooo cool.....
