Yes.... I'm a Homo and have a Verizon wireless card and my computer here at the track, I just made 2 runs. Now the Bracket Racing is going to start, so I get at least one more run.

First Run on left, next run on right (left TC on like a MORON for the first run)

R/T: .277 & .329
60": 2.161 & 2.139
330': 5.848 & 5.812
1/8: 8.869 & 8.786
MPH: 82.86 & 85.43
1000': 11.411 & 11.308
1/4: 13.562 & 13.455
MPH: 104.3 & 105.2

Not Bad.

13.48 for your dial in. Leave when the last yellow illuminates. Good luck

I forgot to mention I went with my buddy who has a brand new (3500 miles on it now) Charger SRT8. His best time was 13.31 @ 103.5

So his best time was .1 better than me, but I had more speed on every run. His 60ft times were 2.0x's on all his runs. He was very dissapointed with his times.

I will say one thing, the track did seem slow, there were so many LS1 camaro's and GT mustangs just not putting down the times I would expect. I used the have a 98 SS Camaro and the last time I was at Sears Point was when that Camaro was brand new, back in 1998 with 600 miles on it and I ran a 13.5xx @ 105 or 106 in it Bone Stock. So for $20k more, 8 years later, 4 seats, 400HP LS6 vs 320HP LS1 both with 6 speeds, I basically ran identical times.

Big head wins tonight and I swear that track is slightly uphill the last 1/8 mile...... if you've ever been there it definately looks like a slight incline grade, but I'm also Italian and not too bright.

Oooops, last run I experienced teeth rattling Wheel Hop :rant2: and pulled a 2.3+ 60 ft, no reason to list that 1/4 time, I'll just take my 13.4 and head off to bed now........

Sears is a little bit uphill near the end... and they get a nasty headwind some nights :(

Dreamin,
sorry you couldn't make it. It was a fun night, just so damn far from the South Bay, it was a solid 1:45 home for me down to Morgan Hill.

Yes.... Very strong headwind so I actually ran a corrected 13.3...:bouncy: naaa.... no correctiong here. I'm happy with my 13.4.

not a cloud in the sky and it was about 70 degrees then it cooled as soon as the sun went down. perfect drag racing weather with the exception being the head wind.

We're going to do it again in July, next time Sac on a Saturday, about 2 months so I'll keep you in the loop for that track day.

Love those wireless cards. I often surf and respond on the road. And people worry about using cell phones and driving....

there was also a bone stock AMG 55, not the 2003 up supercharged rocket ship, but the previous body style AMG 4-door mid size vehicle. He pulled a 13.5 @ 102... I was shocked, I figured 13.8 at best.

Older gentleman, very nice guy and had never beed to a track before, I was glad to educate him on what to do, how to stage, what the stage lights are, how to read the Tree, where to go..... all the basics.

He shouldn't have listened to you. You couldn't hit a decent light, you couldn't launch. He should have talked to me. You should have too for that matter.... :stirpot:

It was a fun night w/ VinMan. Can't wait to go again. I think cooling off my motor (heater on in the car untl the last minute) may have hurt. 4 gal. of 100 octane in a 2/3 full tank didn't help (the weight or the octane). I've read magazines of the n/a E55s running mid-13s but his mph was off too.

There was an S65, Renntech chip, airbox and drag radials whose 1st run was an 11.7 w/ traction control on. Sick!

Most guys seem to run low 13s at 107-109mph and a few stockers hit 12s w/ 1.9 60fts. Can't wait to go again. But I'll end up driving VinMan home - that rear end will probably go soon, unfortunately.
