I was wondering if any one has ever tried to shortn there throtle cable. i noticed that mine has a lot of slack when i floored it like it would hesatate to go. idk just an idea but might be a keeper.

Ive noticed the same thing on my cat. Im not to sure if it is a matter of the throttle cable. but there definetly is the feeling of almost lag.

Prob more related to transmission, shortining the throttle cable will just raise your idle and prob isnt the best idea...

Yes cutting the cable is not a good idea, and reguardless... 99-01 Cateras do not have a throttle cable per-say; as in these years the Catera has electronic throttle control or throttle by wire and it is computer controlled.
