Need help in locating the location coolant temp sending unit, suspect that it is on the back cylinder HEAD. But where?

Auto is 1994 N* Concours w 166K miles. Good car but I want to tow a small trailer and monitor the coolant temp closely so I can prevent overheating.


Has anyone else installed an aftermarket temp gage on N*. I drove 150 K miles w/o ever knowing I was being deprived!

I tried finding prior post and did not do very well at discovery.

Yup, it's on the drivers side underneath the coolant crossover, on the head closest to the firewall. Almost impossible to see.
