Hi all I just stumbled across this and thought some of you might like to know about it.
I ordered the shop manual for my 97 D'elegance 23ish bucks I thought very reasonable. When it arrives I'll let you know what I think. They are on eBay and claim to strive for customer satisfaction so we will see.

Cheers......Jim_Mack

Brilliant!!! And much cheaper than the factory service manual....if they have the same information...... Keep me posted, i need a FSM and 23.99 would be quite nice.

You can also try a site called Factory Service Manuals, they have a 7 pack of CD roms, that cover every GM car and truck from 1996 to 2005, this is the same package the dealer has for their techs to refer to. It only cost me 150 dollars, believe me its worth its weight in gold.

Did you receive the manual yet? If so, is it as detailed/same as the FSM?
thanks

I got it and an Audi manual it's excellent but they are off ebay suddenly not even sure how to contact them any more. I also flipped my 97 Deville for a 99 with less miles so I'm looking for a 99 manual.
