I have 1997 catera with 3.0L v6 engine. This engine had borken . I want to get it replace by 3.2L v6 engine. As i m getting new engine on ebay for 1500$.

Could anyone suggest me if this engine will be compatable in my car.If yes then do i need to have any precautions if not then which engine is compatable if i dont get 3.0L v6
