: Tuning The Ls2

Can anyone tune the 2006 LS2 computer? I have asked this before but I cannot find anyone with the LS2 live edit software. Any info would be great as I searched everywhere. Even Stealth doesn't have it yet.

We are waiting for the software so we can tune the 2006 LS2s, but there is no current ETA as of right now. I am sure we will see something or at least an update within the next month.

what is the estimated price of the tune?

Good tunes are generally about $500-$600 on average I'd estimate.

I ran a before and after dyno test and lost power and torque with the install of a Magnaflow catback and LPE CAI. I'm not sure who to blame. I have to admit I'm a tad vexed with that result. All conditions were as good or better then the stock baseline run. (fuel, BP, ambient air temp, engine temp etc)

I have heard that the stock ECU in the LS2 will pull timing when it senses an increase in airflow or decrease in exhaust back pressure.

Is there any truth to this? I have a Magnaflow exhaust, K&N drop in filter, and a throttle body spacer...does this mean I am losing HP?

does efilive not read ls2s? if so, wouldn't the scan tool work to tune. or are most people using ls1edit.

Superchips have a unit that looks very interesting. I sent an email asking when they would have a program for the 06' LS-2. Reply was:

"More than likely it will be around late spring from what I hear.

There a couple of software tuners for the GTO LS2's. Some are canned tunes like Superchip's(about $399) and some are programmable like HP Tuners(about $600), both of which are currenly available

Maybe they have not come out with one for the LS2 V's.
