i know this has been discussed before any many had the opinions that neons looked a little cheap on a stock Escalade however I was givign it some serious thought and i was thinking that maybe a nice white glow under my White diamond EXT would be nice for the small local gatherings and wouldnt give it a ricer look.. i figure white is the classiest color.. what do you guys think..

**** that. Neon underbodies weren't even cool 8 years ago when they came out.
Why THE **** would you give a Cadillac a ricer look? Maybe you should have bought a Acura MDX or whatever the hell those things are. Maybe a Honda Ridgeline.
Dont you dare do that, man. BIG waste of a piece of American Excellence.

whoooaaaa.. calm down there... a simple "i dont think thats will go" ould have been sufficient... dont get me wrong i understand fully where you are coming from but being that the vehicle is not going to be a simple daily driver and will ahve some customization i figured the neon would go.. and instead of going with a blue or whatever i figured white would give it that custom look while keeping it classy.. iv seen white on a black escalade and it looked classy while iv also seen green and it made it look like a civic 4x4..

Yeah...white might be alright...it all depends on the whole appearence of the car. If you have neon underbody, asre you going to have neon lights surrounding the sub boxes and whatnot too?
I dont know..I answered on impulse and off 5 glasses of wine.
I have customers that have neon because they show their trucks, it just looks cheap if you ask me, JMO

Only if was a full blown show car I would do it.

I totally agree here. Only if its a show car, with air bags, full stereo system etc etc.
But I wouldnt put it on a stock lade. that would be wierd.
Neon on an Escalade crosses the line!! :tisk:

What are you guys talking about? You can't just say in general that it won't look good, when it depends on how well its set up and where its used. Some people go overboard with neon and just kill the look of the car like some of you are saying. Check out my Escalade with neon.

I actually think white neon on a white Lade would look good, as long as it has rims. IMO dont go different colors with it tho. Hell, if you get bored with it, just flip the switch and turn it off.

Agree fully... white is the way to go... i had an 2000 Mustang Gt drop top, and it was silver, and ihat white neons under it, and i have to say the white looked good... i would do it... like spittin game said thats why theres a switch to turn it on or off!!!
