: leaky radiator??

hey guys i have been having to top off my reservoir every couple hundred miles for the past couple of weeks??how serious is this??should i get fixed asap or can i wait a while till it gets really bad to fix??really would like to hold off a little while ,but don't want to get stranded anywhere's..any opinoins??

Usually the leak is very small.

That' s on my list of 7 things the dealer needs to fix. I usually wait until I hit 8 before making a visit :horse:

Make sure the dealer has the part before you bring it in. These were on national backorder sometime ago.

I lived this one. Took my dealer two weeks to get a replacement radiator. Partner up with your service advisor at your local dealership and see if they'll order one; it'll save you both a lot of hassle.

Well, it IS a definite concern. You don't want to leak coolant anytime. But the leak is typically slow enough that you can get by until the replacement radiator arrives. If your dealer can preorder the new one, it will expedite things on for both sides.
