Anyone like the Tails below for a Black Escalade? Any other suggestions. These are Altezza JDM Black tails.

Best thing would be to Smoke them black.

I don't like the aftermarket look. I think those would look great on a Neon with a fart-can muffler.

For some reason, the clear plastic just dont look good anymore. I like the 'original' look. All red. The all red tai lights with the LED's look nice too. :thumbsup:

Dont know if you are asking me or not but I had them painted on the inside.

I had mine painted on the outside. Any body/paint shop can do it.

OK so your saying that you just sprayed black paint over the lens? Or take them apart and spray black paint on the inside of the lens? How does this look at night? can you see the brake lights through it? Im guessing you get pulled over alot?

It's called nightshade paint. I know of a lot of mustang owners who used this stuff. It's like a transparent black candy paint.

I did the 3rd brake light in my old black 2002 EXT with this nightshade paint. I really didn’t like the look. I then sent the taillight to get done for $50.00. The body shop did a great job. I don’t think you will be able to take it off one you spray. Just make sure you throw on a layer of clear coat after that.

Only $50? Wow, I was seeing prices of $150-200, and thats just ridiculous. I should call some places around here and see if they can do
em for like $50. I was kinda iffy about the Nite Shade stuff, just cause it comes out of a can.
