What's the trick to removing the front valve cover on a 98 Seville? When I swing it up on the passenger side of the car, it hits the radiator support and won't go high enough to clear the camshaft where it sticks out on the left.
First, I took the little seal off the camshaft. Provides some more room to maneuver. Then lifted the left (passenger) side up a bit, and rotated the cover toward windshield (toward the valley) very carefully. You will have to wiggle and gently move the cover about as you slide it to the right. There is a path for it to come off the shaft, but it takes a little patience. The cover bolts at the end where the cam comes out can be pulled out to get them out of the way.

The valve cover won't raise enough on the passenger side to clear the camshaft sprockets before it hits the radiator support. The next time I'm in the mood to work on it, I'm going to remove the p/s pump to see if I have more room to swing the cover.
