Fecking Chavs!
So today I was in college (yes, it is the holdays) doing some work on my photography project, so I'm smelling a bit funky from the chemicals and I'm a bit pissed off since I've spent all day in a dark room when its beautiful weather anyway, I got on the bus to come home, and sat near the back over the back wheels, there are four seats that face each other so i had a bit more legroom, I usually sit there, the bus was empty until it got abotu half way through its journey, by now there were probably about 15-20 people on board, so the bus stops and Chav and Chavette get on, they sit behind me, I can smell booze on them. So the bus moves off and Chav starts blowing on my neck, so I turn around and give a "wtf are you doing" look. I turned back around and he started again, and flicking my ears. So I turned round again and asked "what the feck is your problem". He gave no reply and I stood up to move seats. He stood up and swung for me, I moved and he stumbled onto the seat in front of him, he stood back up and I smacked him one, and another for good measure, by now his Chavette is skwarking like a drunken sparrow, and the bus driver stops next to a police station, a police Volvo is behind the bus and is presumabely going back to the station, so he stopped along side the bus and we were both removed, I was sat in the police car and the Chav was stood behind it. A police officer asked me what happened and I gave him my version of events, the Chav did the same, an elderly lady on the bus told one of the police officers what happened and I was told I could leave, they let me get back on the bus but Chav and Chavette were kept away until the bus had moved on, then I assume they were allowed to go.
They asked my name and no other details, so I'm assuming there will be no comeback for this.
The police did a good job of dealing with a situation that looked like it was my fault, in a way I suppose it was my fault for retaliating, but because he swung for me first I'd go for self defence.
Definitions of chav on the Web:

The label is typically, though not exclusively, applied to teenagers and young adults of white working-class or lower-middle class origin. Chav is used for both sexes, where a male chav is sometimes referred to as a chavster and a female as a chavette. ...
