View Full Version : k so you guys (ladies) tell me how strange this is.... urbanski 04-09-06, 07:45 PM my buddies wife "left" him 2 weeks ago.
moved out, took all the furniture, drained the bank accounts, took the car...left him with the kids but filed a restraining order that he couldn't be near her....until she picked up the kids a week later. :rant2:
So what's odd is they're all here NOW at my house.
Drinking, talking, eating supper....like nothing is going on!!
They have a court date in the am for custody, etc...but dudes..its totally surreal here. We're all lit as hell. Kids are playing. Nothing is "odd"...but she's been having an affair for a year, wants to sue for custody, but nobody is saying anytihng. Do you guys know how hard it is to type right now?
Anyhow...just how odd. I hate feeling so strange. I like being normal  illumina 04-09-06, 07:51 PM So let me get this straight; she screwed your buddy over by screwing another man, took his stuff, took the kids, and is filing a custody order?
Tell your friend that if he trades the kids for his car, then all is good and there won't be no need for court
And have a drink for me!!! urbanski 04-09-06, 08:14 PM yes she screwed him every way you said
but the court order says he can't drink :(
so i'm the only one :( The same thing happened to one of my very best friends....only he and his ex aren't on such "good terms." He's completely miserable now. He misses his daughter so much it hurts. He admitted to me he would even stay married to his ex and allow her to sleep with whoever she desired as long as he could see his daughter every day. It's sad.
It makes me grateful for what I have. my buddies wife "left" him 2 weeks ago.

I think in the eyes of the law, that is called abandonment. Your buddy needs to contact a lawyer. onle1blu-cady-pi 04-09-06, 10:17 PM Woa... you are caught in the middle....
I'd try to get as far away from them both A.S.A.P!!!
They both are drinking and acting calm.....I'd be very scared!!!!
Normally, in my family when something like that goes on there's at least one person going to jail and the other is going to the hospital......:thepan:
But..... if there are your friends then you shouldn't take sides...they make attack at anytime....:thepan: j/k!!!
:tisk: remember there's onle1blu-cady-pie!!!:tisk: Let me guess...
This guy's name is Earl, right? Urbi, play their role. That's all you can do.
On the other hand, after hearing your friend is even thinking of letting her screw around to keep his relationship with his daughter, helps me understand why spouses kill each other.:gun2: onle1blu-cady-pi 04-10-06, 01:01 AM LMAO!!!!!!!:alchi: powerglide 04-10-06, 01:55 AM Thats gotta be rough......even though everything seems 'normal' at some level they've gotta hurt like hell. Thats really sad. First tell him not to pull an O.J. If someone has the money, hire a professional. :D ;) sorry to go off topic.....
Patriot Guard Rider means you protect the border? boricuacaddy 04-10-06, 02:54 PM Let me guess...

Na, that's the Minuteman Project (http://www.minutemanproject.com/). SpeedyArizona 04-10-06, 04:53 PM Did she drain HIS bank account or a joint bank account? Either way that isn't legal, she can't take something that belongs to him nor can she take everything out of a joint account. Did they have a pre-nup (I'm guessing not)?
Whatever is in his or both of their names is technically untouchable and has to be decided by a judge. Get him a good lawyer ASAP, don't get skimpy;)... urbanski 04-10-06, 05:14 PM well...i mean when you're married it's all joint, but she did take all the money not just half. and yes, it may not fly with with the judge.
he has a lawyer but for the guy to "win" usually, they have to be especially sleazy. Yeah, I'm never getting married. I'd have choked the hell out of that stupid woman. DILLIGAF 04-10-06, 10:18 PM Urb,you gotta be a friend here.Help this guy get over his wife,by getting another girl under him asap.It only feels weird because every one involved is used to the disfunction of it all.Get and keep him away from his soon to be ex.Show the whore the door. Yeah, I'm never getting married. I'd have choked the hell out of that stupid woman.
So instead you're going to choke the hell out of something else. :histeric: Patrick7997 04-11-06, 07:03 PM Elvis, you are brutal....
Every time I hear stories like this, I'm soooo glad I'm single.....
I would agree with 2 things in this thread:
1. you have to get her outta there.
2. your buddy needs to pay whatever is necessary to get the best lawyers money can buy. This is no time to cheap out.
And... good luck. You're gonna need it. |
