The prices are listed on the cadillac website.

You cant "build your EXT" but you can build a regular Escalade and then take 3000 off of that price to see how much an EXT equipped the same will cost. The EXT starts at 54,210.

My EXT is being built now, GM accepted my order last week. When i ordered it, i didnt know how much it was going to cost. I was pleased when i found out it was 3k cheaper than the Escalade.

Mine is being built as "sold". They are building the sold vehicles to satisfy customers first...then they will start building random trucks to send to lots.

Thanks for the info.
Did your dealer tell you the price of the EXT???

I ordered an EXT about 2 weeks ago but not as sold, because my dealer could not get a price at the time... so I'm told.

From what you say and going by the Escalade and ESV invoice prices I would think the EXT is Invoiced at about 50K.

No, the pricing information hadnt been released when i ordered my EXT. I just got that information from the Cadillac website a few days ago.

I would like to save money just like the next guy BUT, with the EXT being new and a "hot" vehicle etc, negotiating the sales price is pretty much out the window. I mean, i couldnt expect to list every option i wanted, have them build my truck to suit me and then say "ok, i will give you 200 over invoice".

They dont have to sell the 07s like that right now. I mean, if i wont pay sticker...somebody else will come along tomorrow and pay it. There is no incentive for the dealer to drop the price. I have heard that some of them are even selling for over sticker price.

I have also heard of places that are selling the regular Escalades at close to invoice...but they werent special ordered.

I guess what it boils down to is that i wanted a new EXT and i wanted it with every option available except the 22s. I didnt want to wait for the dealer to get some trucks in and then hope he gets one i like. Therefore, i am not really concerned with invoice pricing etc. If i was that worried about saving 1-2k here and there, i would have bought something else.

I will tell you what i did do though, in case you are going to buy one. Like i said, negotiating the sales price is pretty much out of the question. BUT, i told my dealer that i can order my vehicle from anybody and i asked him what he was going to do to make me want to order it from him......

He went on about how he is the leading dealer in the area, blah blah blah. I came back and said "that is fine...but you still havent done anything for me to make me order my EXT from you"

Then he said that when my EXT needs service, he would come get it from my house, leave me a new car from the lot to drive and take my truck back to the dealership for the servicing and then bring it back to me when it is done (i live like 10min from the dealership). He said he would also add an additional 2yrs/48,000 miles to the original Cadillac warranty at no extra cost.

I am still trying to get him to throw in 2yrs of free oil changes.

You might not be able to negotiate the price, but if you stress to the dealer that YOU are the one with the upper hand and you have a choice on who to buy your truck from...there are things he can do to persuade you.

Does anyone know if there are any dealers out there discounting these vehicles?? If so where and how much??? I am leaning towards an ESV for my wife. Spoke to one dealer and in NJ the werent discounting anything!! Said the ESV's should be arriving in May and that looks correct.Probably could hold out till the fall but would like to try to get it sooner. Any internet deals. Hate to sound cheap but I just will not pay sticker for a any car. Years back I was in the car biz. Thanks for any help on this!!!!
