Here is a link to a site that features tours and whatnot in classic convertible cadillacs (59 and 60 I think). My brother did the complete mechanical restoration on these cars and they are s-m-o-o-t-h. It's also a pretty neat website as well as a very nice way to write off some kick a$$ cars as a business expense. The black car was bought in Palm Beach for $800!!!!
The other cool thing is that my brother has full access to these vehicles and any time I visit we cruise.... I am trying to talk him into driving one down for the Orlando meet...

click on a location and you can start the car, listen to the stereo, operate the windows, etc etc...

How much does something like that cost? When our house is done I want to talk my dad into restoring our 1959 Eldorado Biarritz.

I think it was surprisingly inexpensive if you find the right car to start with. All upholstery was redone, new tops and then just some clean up on the body. My brother believes in the power of barter so he does the work for "free" and the owner only had to buy the parts. My guess is that the cars were restored for less than 6k each.

Interesting, the Eldo just needs cosmetic work (the interior is showing its age and sun abuse). We also have a 59 Fleetwood that is in awesome shape all around.
