I kinda topped out the Fleetwood the other night... 129. She didnt have anything more. Guess those shorter 3.42's may have hurt the top end. I wouldn't give them up though, she still pulls very hard off the line. I might go for a stall converter too. A buddy with a caprice and a slightly more open 2200, or 2900 stall converter showed how helpful it was at getting his car moving. But, he's still a pegleg rear. I think with my posi, could make for some killer launches.

129 is very impressive IMO for a 4500lb boat like that :)
I was at 132 and had lots to go, I was running out of straight road and there was a car coming up. Something is wrong. Was it in 3rd or 4th? If you were locked to 3rd, you can see upwards of 140, once in OD, no wind, you can see as high was 200.... BUT, we know we are wind limited to much less than that.
Who did the PCM tune for the 3.42's? In my experience Tunercat doesn't calculate 3.42's and 235 70 15's properly, my speedo was WAAAAYYYY off. Like 8 mph off.
Do you have tunercat or LT1Edit? I can compare the speedo settings to my factory ones.

PCMForLess redid my computer. There were plenty of revs left, but I was into the wind, etc. I may try again at a later date, with a few more things adjusted.

Yea I was wondering that too because in the first post you said "I kinda topped out the Fleetwood the other night... 129. She didnt have anything more." Of course there is still more in there I wonder what the stock top speed is? All variables being perfect.......
