But i was wondering, Since its an 02, and does have 67k miles on it, is that a good price? Take a look at what it has, its fully custom. If you think thats a good price or if you think i should raise or lower it please let me know. I'm trying to get myself an 06 clk500, which run around 60-65k, so hopefully i can get 45k-50k out of this truck to be able to afford one. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

price seems a little high... you have to remember that you never get out of a vehicle what you put into it... I would think 35-37... and you would have to wait to find someone that wants a tricked out lade... nice ride though! good luck!

I agree. Parting it out is the best way to do it. Most people who can afford an Escalade are more 'older' people. Rarely that kids get them these days.

So for example, if an older person who can afford it wants to buy an Escalade, most likely, they want one that is stock or looks close to stock. Not all stereo system, etc etc.

Your truck looks good though. I love the interior. BUT, if there is a kid out there who CAN afford one, they you have a chance of selling it to a kid. See what i'm trying to say here??

So most people do sell their aftermarket parts seperately and put the truck close to stock to sell.

BUt its entirely up to you on that one. My last truck was an Expedition, with a tv, dvd player, two 12 JL Audios, amps, etc etc. Well, I had it on the autotrader for almost a year. I had a lot of older people come look at it, but then said that they need the space in the back, etc etc, so they didnt buy it , due to the subs and amps etc was in the back.

AND don't part it out. By the time you sell your stuff, you have probably made $5,000. And then your trying to sell an Escalade with close to 70k miles on it for more than $30,000. You will be making less in the long run, and will have spent a lot of work removing all the custom work.

I assume you also want to see it go to a good home... you know? Be smart and be patient, more people than you think are always on the hunt for vehicles like this. Theres a big time drug dealer who offer $70,000 for my Escalade, but had one request - to paint it all black first. Your Escalade is clean as f**k!! Don't think you won't sell it.

I agree completely. Thats the only problem with doing THOUSANDS of dollars worth of modifications to a car. You have to be ready to take a hit when it comes time to sell it. Either that or find the right market for it. Enter it in some car shows and offer it to people who seem serious about buying it.

And you live in CA? Shit...throw up a custom for sale decal on it and try to stay in the ridiculously rich neighborhoods.

A guy I work with just picked up a DUB Edition FULLY tricked out 2002 from one of the basketball players on the Sonics at the cadillac dealership for 25 grand because the guy was buying an '07.
Doesnt have the LV Seats, though. That's pretty sweet. I'd be too afraid to wear my shoes in that thing. I'd have slippers that I wore and put my shoes in the back or something.

I'm feelin that interior. How much does somethin like that run? I would sell it with everything on it. Parting out will make your ride a 30K vehicle and parting out will only get you a bunch of lowballers. And it's a biatch to uninstall everything. Find somebody who wants to floss immediately!

you should lower the price to like 99 cents on ebay.. watch and see how many watchers you get on that truck.. of course throw a reserve on it or have a friend ready to bid it up for you.. iv noticed alot that when you start someting ridiculously low you get alot more people interested..

I mod everything I own, and rule of thumb you car/truck is worth a few grand more than a stock truck, you always want to start the pricing high, I know I do, but you usually lose the mod value, sell off what you can to offset the difference.

the hardest part is finding a buyer that wants a truck that way... b/c everyone has their own "dream" lade... if you hold out i am sure you can get someone to come into your price range...

If u decide to part it out I would be interested in somee of those goodies.. especially the wheels!!

yea im not 100% sure on what i want to do yet, i just wish it was easier for me to sell this thing, cuz i really want an 06 benz. Parting it out just seems like a lot more work, and quite honestly i'd rather sell it to some rich guy who likes it or something haha. who knows what will happen:-/ this isnt the first time i've tried to sell it, but now i have more upgrades so who knows if thats better or worse...

02 will go for much less than 30k, 02 volkswagens only retain 50% of their value, u want a 02 gm vehicle to retain more than 50%, i doubt it, but good luck man.

This 02 will hold much more value than the 2007 design will. Too many specific reasons why too. And far much more than a 2002 Volkswagen.

yea, well so far i've had a few people send me emails asking me questions, so im sure theres people interested. in all honesty, i think 45k is a pretty decent price for my truck, with all the things that are in it, its really a truck u can never get bored in. but i dunno, since i've yet to encounter really serious buyers, i think its just hard to find people who actually want a fixed up lade now a days.
