MISTERK 04-05-06, 04:21 PM has anyone purchased and installed? i hear they are new? example of a company selling them http://www.xenon-vision.com/ TheCaddyKidd 04-05-06, 04:32 PM hey.. just installed JDM Mtech hid kit in my ext... i went with the 4500k and they look great.. i might go to 6000k as i heard the headlight turn bluer after use but for now they match pretty good.. the pics dont show the true match for some reason... hcvone 04-05-06, 05:07 PM I am going to get one of the two kits for my 07' AWF_AXIS 04-05-06, 05:36 PM In my '07, I pulled the bulb out of the fog lamp, and the bulb was 9045 or 9145. I have a 9005 HID kit from my '05 Denali that I pulled out before selling it, thinking I may use it. Turns out, I can't. The pattern on the bulb (lugs) is different. I don't see any 9045 or 9145 bulb options on the xenon-vision site, so is it a matter of substituting a 900x? Do you know which one works? One other thing, I can't even get the headlights out of the '07 to remove the two little bulbs, and replace them with something not so yellow. Do you know the trick? hcvone 04-05-06, 05:45 PM I am still waiting for my 07' :( , that is surprising about the bulbs in the fog lights, never heard of that bulb number.  MISTERK 04-05-06, 07:36 PM do you have any night pics? TheCaddyKidd 04-05-06, 11:17 PM here are some nite pics... jrs05caddyext 04-06-06, 08:21 AM Nice. That looks way better than stock fogs. 05 Cadillac Escalade 04-06-06, 10:53 PM Nice. That looks way better than stock fogs. :yeah: Thanks. MISTERK 04-07-06, 04:27 PM thanks for the pics... toneman 04-17-06, 03:17 PM I have fog (well actually, driving lights since true "fogs" are supposed to put out a yellow-color output) HIDs in my Esky; however, I'm contemplating switching them out for the "gold-tinted" fog HIDs. I demo'd a set on my Denali and contrary to what some of you might think about the color, it is definitely more "gold" than halogen yellow in color output...and needless to say, brighter than the stock driving lights. Yeah I'm sure many of you will say that gold fogs aren't your cup of tea but I might get them just to be different...LOL!!!! :) hcvone 04-17-06, 03:22 PM About an hour ago I had one of my customers telling me he was pulled over for his gold headlights, haven't seen them at night but they look pretty gold during the day, fogs should be ok though. | |
