I was looking to rent a Cadi for a week. On Alamo's web site, it lists their DTSs with Supercharged V6's.... Can this be correct? I don't want to rent that if its a V6. Anyone know the scoop on that?

no, they have N*'s not S/C'd V6s unless they put those in aftermarket. probably a mistake, do you have a link?

i just went to their site and it does say "Supercharged V6".

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO TURN OFF THE TRACTION CONTROL IN THE 2006 MODEL?

im not 100% but it should be in the glove box, a little button just push it.

Hey, thanks for the reply. The only thing in the glovebox is a valet switch. The traction control button is on the end of the shifter in mine.... Funny, I found it almost the same time Chris replied in the other thread about it. Thanks

On floorshift models there's a button on top of the console to the left of the shifter. Look for the tire (T/C) icon

The button is on the end of the shift stalk for column-mounted shifters.

Try holding it down instead of just pushing the button, to see if is has other modes. My V has 4 TC modes

Cadillac does not offer DTS's with ANY V6. All are Northstar V8 equipped.
