Well my lemon law arbitration hearing is on Tuesday 11, We've been gathering all of our info.

Just a question, has anyone seen any TSB or official response to the creak that is the byproduct of the GM bushings? In my service records it says that the dealer contacted GM technical assistance and they said the creakk was a normal characteristic...just looking for that official document

thanks in advance,
John

Sure it's normal...for THESE cars! Don't let them pull that crap with the judge! Ask for them to provide an example of any other car, by any other manufacturer where these symptoms also occur under "normal" conditions.

I've heard nothing about a "fix" for the creak...when I took it in to the dealer for the creaking they simply said they replaced "some rod that controls the torque". Replaced with the same creaking part, this is NOT a fix and has since started creaking worse than before. I'm quite embarrassed to even drive my car at times!

My dealer showed me a TSB on the clunk. It said it normal and insturcted the dealer to do nothing. We need to find a useful TSB but I don't think it exists yet.

I used to Arbirtrate for Cadillac years ago and the more noises and such you can show the arbitrator builds your case as none of these are "normal" for any vehicle let alone a $53K Cadillac. All manufacturers have limits but it doesn't make it right.

Let me guess, it was a waist of time. I did it my self

There probably isn't a TSB on this. I can see if there was it would help but doesn't matter as that is what they told you.
All you have to do is show the arbitrator what Cadillac is saying is normal and ask him, "if you paid $50K+ for a vehicle would you expect this to be normal characteristic" and hopefully he will agree with you. If you have a whiny diff they won't replace you are all set.
Good luck.
