I installed a pioneer avic d1 headunit a few months ago using a pac os2-bose interface and swi-ps steering wheel control adapter today i was adding a amplifier for 2 10" subs i think there might of been somthing wrong with the brand new soundstream ega 1700d amp because the fault light came on I then pulled the headunit out to check the rca's because I was getting no sound somthing happend and i lost all power going to the headunit

I've been trying to trouble shoot it and the problem is I'm not getting switched 12 v (ignition on) to the relay on the end of the pac interface i checked the blue remote antanae turn on and it has no voltage with the key on its the 3rd wire from the right side of the connector coming out of the harness i'm wondering if this could be a blown fuse which i cant seem to locate also i just noticed when i arm my alarm my doors are no longer locking with my viper x791 alarm but if i press the power door lock button on the door they work

thanks allot guys i have been really happy with the touchscreen navigation i added but adding a simple amp and sub turned into a nightmare hopefully someone can help

I just noticed that the green iginition on led is staying light whether the key is on or off do you guys think the os-2 bose interface could be bad. I think I narrowed it down to the os2 - bose interface if I put 12 volts to the 86 terminal on the relay though it will work but I heard this might cause problems with the factory computer? I brought the truck to a local car stereo shop and they said the problem with the door locks is because the battery was disconnected to many times and it would need to be reprogrammed by the dealer the alarm works fine just dosent lock with the remote. The viper x791 was installed by the dealer but I dont want to void any of the warranty with the aftermarket stereo equipment
