Realizing that I have the Vortech supercharger and a custom cat-back exhaust on my truck, but the stock manifolds, I'm wondering what everyone else out there is using for long-tube, factory bolt-up headers. I'm sure there's a good handful of ponies being choked out by the cast-iron paperweights. Any recommendations?

I was using JBA headers on my 2002 along with the Magnacharger when it was installed. The only complaint I had wasn't performance related it was the cheap welds that began to open up along with a hole that burned itself into the #4 header pipe! Had to remove the header and fill in the holes. Sounded and worked great just poor construction?

http://performancetrucks.net has some good info.... I would recommend a set of Long tubes.... Believe it or not a lot of the more perfomance oriented sites all say they are the best for the money. DynaTech are supposed to be real good but more than double the cost of the Pacesetter. I have also read the JBA shorty's only add about 5 hp in performance, they only create a nicer look under the hood.... The problem with our trucks is you need to get a custom exhaust to run long tubes. There is no application that will just bolt up, to our cats..
Don't waste you money on shortie headers, you will only get 5-7 hp gains as said, not enough gains for the money. Long tube headers are the way to go, Supermaxx and The Other Guy make good headers, I have seen both. I am putting a set on my 07', just seeing who is going to offer them first. :)
