I am in the current dillema of buying rims for my 2000. I want 22's, but at the same time the truck will be in Alaska, where the roads are horrible. So, I want some tire, so not too low pro, but I DO NOT want the rim/tire to stick outside of the wheel well to the point where it looks ridiculous.
Any suggestions on tire size?

Also, any suggestions on the best place for rims/tire packages on the net?

305/40/22 or 305/45/22 are two very common sizes. I think you will be able to run 315/40/22 as well. I would recommend the 305/45/22 for you and I would talk to "Tid9" who is a member here. He can get you a great deal on some rims and tires. I believe he has his own shop and can get you some nice wheels. Welcome to the forum and post some pictures when you get a chance.

Thanks.

Just pointing something out...The front wheels WILL stick out past the fender on that 00 due to the front differential. Its not that far out, but its noticeable.Every wheel I tried to put on the 99 I had did anyway.
