i got the engine, frame and inner fenders 95% cleaned and degreased.

I know the engine color for the 500 but ,it looks like the th400 is a different color blue...

Does anyone know what color blue it is or does everyone paint em silver....?

Should the firewall and inner fenders be black or the color of the car? i can't tell what color this firewall was...

I might just paint the firewall and inner fenders black......

Also anybodoy know where i can get floor pans the front btw,,, it's a74 eldorado...

As far as I know they are the same color. Maybe weathering, age, and the fact that the engine and tranny are different metals has something to do with the different colors?

I don't know about '74, but my '76 has the entire bay (firewall, inner fenders, rad support, frame, etc. painted black while the body color is silver.

On the floor pans, you will either have to make a patch or cut some out of a good donor car.

i really wish i can take the motor out but there's not a lot of room left in the garage as it is....
