This is a relatively minor problem that I just noticed today, but I would like to resolve it.

On my car, after you turn off the car, the radio and clock stays on until a door is opened. However, this is no longer occuring when the driver's side door is opened, the radio and clock display stays on. However, open any other door, and everything shuts off immediately.

I believe it turns off anyways, after a while, but would like to know why it doesn't shut everything off anymore as soon as the door is open.

As always, thanks for the help.

Most likely it's the small switch near the bottom of the door post. The switch is visibe as soon as you open the door and look straight down near the hinges...

THANKS, darntoot'n ! I've had that problem for many years! Since my first dead battery from it, I always peer in thru the glass to make sure the clock display was off. Since she gets no use, If I didn't check, she be illuminated for 3 weeks until I found it, DEAD ! Never knew why, until now. Time to find switch, and clean off any gunk and maybe a spritz of silly-cone :) Thanks, again !
