If this is ebay, only amatures bid on the first day, and drive the price up (good for sellers, bad for buyers). Serious bids will come in the last 60 seconds.
Hi, my name is Don, and I am an Ebay sniper. I wait and put in my highest, and only, bid, with exactly 8 seconds to go. I either get what I am bidding on, or drive the price higher for the poor slob who outbid me. But, I usually get what I am bidding on.

I use the other Ebay bidding method, I bid what I am willing to pay for somthing when I find it, if I win, fine, If I do not, another one will be for sale eventually

It's one thing to snipe for yourself on Ebay, but now people are using automatic programs that will put the bid in with 1 second to go. Now THATS cheap!
