What is the difference between say an used '04 Deville DHS and a '04 Deville DTS? Im looking to get a red/maroon one pretty soon. Any suggestions ? Advice? Comments? etc....

Both are upgrades, one (DHS) is "luxury" orientrated, the other (DTS) performance.
Different types leather. Both very nice, but the DTS is a little sportier and tighter, the DTS a little softer
The automatic is on the floor on the DTS, it's on the steering column on the DHS
The ride is much stiffer on the DTS, and a little more forgiving on the DHS
A little extra HP on the DTS (300 vs 275, I think)
Analog guages on the DTS, electronic dash on the DHS.
Probably a few more things, but that's what initially comes to mind.

Don't forget...

DTS: 17 inch rims vs. DHS: 16 inch rims
DTS: Fog Lamps vs. DHS: No Fog Lamps

the gagues on the dts are analog and digital, you can have both, the dig. ones are reflected on the bezel. the dts mostly come with sunroof and the dts, i dont think comes with the night vision.
also the body trim on the dts is painted to match instead of being the grey plastic, as well as the licence plate box being color matched

i would personally get the (DTS) personally thats what i own, but i could tell the motor diff, between the base/dhs, and the dts. its been a great car for me, ive drivin lots of them and liked the DTS by far over the other two trim levels....

The one thing I wish my DTS had that the DHS has is the rear electric sunshade. Other than that I love my DTS!

So far I am not convinced of the luxuryness of the drivers seat in the DHS. In my wife's 2005 DHS I do not feel very comfortable in the drivers seat. My daily driver is an Acura MDX and while he seat is not real plush it seems softer to me and fits my back better. Wish the DHS had the center console shifter as that is what I am used to.

However, that is her car and who am I to complain.

DHS does have analog gauges. Also DHS has rear seat passenger pull down visors with illuminated mirrors built into the roof.

Night vision does come on the DTS model.

NightVision: It definitely comes on the DTS. You will find NightVision on a DTS quicker than a DHS. I have never seen it on a standard Deville.

Sunroof: I have seen plenty DTS models without a sunroof.

NightVision, Navigation, and Sunroof are options. Based on the original owner's preference will determine if the vehicle has one of those options.

Funny Fact:
My dad would purchase his Cadillacs without a sunroof because he thought he would get balder quicker.
