for those of you with the volant intake and exaust , and other hp mods, headers??????? do u guys feel the difference ?? is the acceleration noticably differnt???

I only have the volant in my car and I felt the difference, and definately a noise difference as well...gives it a nice down right nasty noise :) Exhaust is coming in 2 weeks :bouncy:

what do u think a volant and corsa and headers will do for the 0 to 60 and the 1/2 mile?? will it shave anything?? or just like a better throttle response little firmer acceleration??

I have all of the above Intake, Headers, X pipe, exhaust and high flow cats and you can easily tell the difference in my car. I drive stock 3.6L CTS all the time when I take my car to the dealer for service and the difference is crazy when I drive the 05-06 CTS I feel like I am not going anywhere.

My original mos is 6122 but right now I am an 8411 (Recruiter)

How's recruiting going? I just moved from Scripps Ranch recently. When in I was a SSgt and my mos was 2621/2629/2649 and 0211. They gave me enough didn't they?

Which helos did you work on? Father in law flew CH64E's.

On my lowly 3.2, the Borla and Volant really woke it up. I love the sound and the performance. I've been waiting patiently for months for CMS to release their 3.2L headers for another 30 hp or so. I wonder how long I'll be satisfied before I'm looking for new ways to produce power?

Right after you install the Headers. Engineers can't leave anything alone!:)

robert i got the 3.6 if i did all that how long will my diff last, and is there a aftermarket diff i could put in thats better???

Only a very small percentage of differentials fail (Yours is next!:D )

Pete at CMS has busted several but he has been running like 325HP 3.6 with ESC. He feels the differential is easily good for 300HP. The Marine runs the hell out of his 305HP CTS. Nothing available yet, only some band-aids.

Switch your stock airbox back in before you have it towed to the dealer to be sure! LOL

If my diff ever blows, I'm switching to the CTS-V limited slip with the same 3.73 ratio that my 5 speed has. Whether I have to pay the difference or the whole amount.

i have a stick shift , i can still put the v rear in right, i dont mind payin either as long as i dont have to worry bout the damn thing blowin , i think i might grab just a volant so if i do f somethin up i can just take it off and replace it with the stock one so they dont say anything, wil i feel the difference with just a volant???

ray: yup. You'll feel a little difference. You'll hear the difference more for sure.
