Just a guess, but I'd think that sunset blue would be a very dark close to midnight blue color. Just because the blues at sunset are pretty dark. If so that would be really sweet. Acura has or used to have a very very dark blue, almost black that looked great.

Not really sure what's up with that blue...but it's what they have posted! Definately not even close to what comes to mind when I think "Sunset Blue"...

Dang, getting rid of my wheels... I like the ultra-bright machined finish. But then again my next Caddy will probably be an 08 STS.

I'm not sure why they got rid of the current polished 17" rim either, as it was one of the better looking ones. But they do seem to change at least one wheel a year on the CTS.

I agree, but that is what they show, so it probably isn't far off from that. I'm thinking light silver-blue, i.e., baby blue...

I will bet you are right! I have an Escalade that is painted Silver Sand. It is pretty similar to my Sandstorm CTS color. The Escalade has a little more silver hue and the CTS has a little more tan hue.

If you ever look at the touch up paints you can see that GM has dozens of colors that are very similar.

08 models usually get released in 07 though. Look at the 07 escalade. It's the first half of 06 and it's out.
