I installed the radios and more ipod kit. Its not working. I have a 2006 base model non Bose system XM ready (Im guessing it is because I have 2 bands for XM). I will attach pictures of the kit and how I have it set up and my XM module in my rear deck. I followed the directins from the faqs page. Here are my questions and problems::confused:

1. Problem= I attached the red wire from the ipod kit to the red/white wire on the XM module as what the instructions said. When I do that my XM does not show up on the radio it only shows AM and FM.
2. when I put it back to normal red/white to red/white they appear.
3. In the kit there is a large black square plug, 1 male and 1 female end picture is attached do they go connected to each other? or kept seperate?
4. This red wire and plug came with the kit do I need it for anything?
5. Problem= I'm guessing since I have an 06 the XM module cables are different. example I have 2 connections one with 1 cable(power I guess it has a clear shielding and is copper colored with a black plug) the other with the blue tab has 6 wires. Its different from the instructions(I know the instructions has a NAV system). Do i need to attach my red ipod kit wire to a different one.
6. I also wanted to install a PAC converter but since I have less wires than in the instructions how do I do it?

If any one can help it would be awsome I dont want to put the peices back together until I'm done. So I have no back seat right now, THNAKS:confused:

OK, I connected the black square to the back of the head unit and the gray and tan connectors to the female of the black square from th eipod kit and still have the same issue the XM bands do not come out. There is a green and white wire on th eipod kit that is sripped but not connected to anything could this be the problem? pic attached.

I spoke to radios and more. they think the problem is with the green/white wire. Can some one tell me where it should be plugged into. it comes out of th ewhite plug that goes into th eipod module but is not connected to anything on the other end. Thanks
