Guys,
I want to haul a 1994 Cadillac Concourse. Does anyone know or has anyone tried using a tow dollie to haul a vehicle like this. I was thinking of putting the front tires up on the dolly and putting the vehicle in neutral. What do you guys think?

I think Click and Clack said not to do that to FWD cars
I can't rememeber why

Check out the other caddy site.
One of the members, KHE, just towed home an STS from Virginia to
Michigan using a tow dolly.

Good luck.

FWD cars are BETTER to tow on a dolly then RWD cars....

drive the car forward on the dolly, put the trans in park, strap the car down, make sure not to put the e-brake on :). The rear tires are free to roll and never turn an ounce of the drivetrain.

I don't see why there is any reason you coudln't tow it.

Is the 1994 Cadillac Concours front wheel drive? I'm not sure. But cool so I don't have to put the car in neutral when towing?

Yes.

I think you feel that it has to be in neutral because you thought it was RWD.

The front wheels are not moving at all and are up on the tow dolly.

The rear tires are not connected to any drivetrain or steering components, so its just a wheel spinning around the hub.... really, towing a FWD car on a dolly, to the car, is like its sitting still.
