I was just wondering what the average MPG for the 1990 FWD. I know it's a gas guzzler, but today I was checking the fuel economy and I noticed I was getting 12.3 MPG in the city. This seems low to me. I'm not sure about highway fuel economy.

Keep in mind it is cold up here in Canada, and therefore I have been running the defrost quite a bit, as well as the heater. So that might add a bit.

Just wondering if it's normal or not.

Sounds awfully low to me. I get 26 hiway and 18ish in the city. I have a 90 coupe deville fwd as well.

In poor tune, and with an 18 year old behind the wheel, I get 15 city and 23 highway at 75MPH.

My coupe has been averaging 16.7 mpg on regular gas, in town and highway driving combined.

It's ok, I've figured it out. I had a new dash computer installed a couple of weeks ago, so fuel economy measurement was reset. The average MPG is now over 15, and still cimbing, so it seems ok.
