4 days driving the car.

.81 left, .79 right.

Do I need to try harder or is that respectable?

And are there any recalls on the gas guage? Mine seems to keep moving to the left, I can't figure it out. Help please.

I guess I should finally read the book a bit! I know I'll never read it soon, so what are those numbers anyway?

I think they got a little more in them, maybe 85 or so. I was pulling about 75 the one time and hit the throttle a little too much (tc off of course ;) ) and had the ass end kicking out.

Not bad for a new V. In the future, drive the V the way it was meant to be and go for 1.0+ both ways.

Give me some time Rick :D

Do the RSAs have 1. in them?

I think that's mighty respectable for only having it 4 days... Hell, I think that's respectable for any length of time...

Yes, yes there was a TSM on the fuel sender ; they had to remove the right hand fuel tank on mine and replace. Some on this forum reported running out of gas while reading 1/4 full.

Had some fun on the way home tonight - driving her the way she was built for, and it is cold and wet to boot...but sometimes the Maggie power oversteer is too hard to resist and I just hang her out and have fun.

1.02<---->.96

Not bad for four days and on the street.

I have no experience on the RSAs, but a little track time on my PS2s saw 1.15+ left and right. I wouldn't push her like that on the street though.

Find a track and you will be amazed what this car will do.

with my F1's I can get .92 on each side somewhat easy (read; safely) on the street but i'm sure at the track over 1.0 should come easy as well and safer!!!!!
cold weather severely limits the f1's though.

I can routinely exceed .95 on highway on-ramps with my F1's in warm weather....

Of course that's only making right turns....

I am waiting for some good on ramps when the tires are warm.

I got these last night on my way home from work on some small twisty roads. I can't push them too hard on those tight tiny roads.

And my gas guage question was a joke........:stirpot:

Encouraging people to go for higher g (note the lower case as it is properly shown on the V display) numbers is a good way to get someone killed.

I would hope we are all grown up here and know our limitations, but thanks for your concern.

I know the gas guage question was a joke, but brought to mind something I learned about my V this week.

Driving home from work, I was watching the gas guage stay buried left. Fuel range on DIC was LOW, not a number. I had planned to stop on at my regular station, about 8 more miles. The warning popped up on the screen so I decided not to chance it.

Book says fuel tank is 17.5 gals.
I put in 17.41.

When it says empty - believe it!

I was able to go and hold up to 1.04 G's before I started to lose stability. It seems like the wider back tires helped.

I had .96 each side before they had to do some work on the car. Now I gotta get it back. hehe

My car came with 1.03 and.89 already on it. I leave it there to impress my friends.:D (I am still learning how to get it further) LOL

I have seen .76 on my own.
