I am picking up my 06' EXT during the week and i had a question about the headlight/foglight setup...my 06 has the stock hid's and i was wondering first if there is any upgrade for the factory hid's.. i have always been a big fan of 8000k hid look... is there any way of upgrading the D1R bulbs from the factory 4300k to 6000-8000k? Second question is if there is no way of upgrading the factory bulbs in the headlights what is the fogs to a 4300k? I want to match the headlights and foglights but im nervous that going with an aftermarket 6000k kit will not match which si why i want to upgrade bioth sets with the same brand.. thanks for any info..

Your stock HID bulbs are 4300k, that is the brightest bulb you can use. You can get 5000k, 6000k and 8000k HID bulbs for your truck, you can retrofit your fog lights with HID's, I did this to mine and used 5000k bulbs in my fogs (I wanted them to look slightly different than the headlights) and I had 4300k in my HID highbeams I added. Search the internet and you will find replacement bulbs. I got several from this company. http://www.hyperlights.com/
