I took my car in to have new tires put on after 17,700 miles. I feel like such an old man driver because they lasted so long. I'm not sure why they lasted so long because I peeled out at every freeway entrance. Oh well, let's see if any of your tires lasted longer.:bouncy:

Don't sweat it. I got EXACTLY the same amount of mileage on my RFTs. But we don't have the record. But I'm by no means a granny behind the wheel and my RFTs were even used in an auto-X. AND mine wore unevenly. If they didn't, I could've squeezed 21-25K out of them.

This would be a good question on the next survey.

Down to the wear bars at 7,500 miles. Rotated at 3,500.

I know there were a few people on this forum that got less than 5K.

13.1 seconds @ 109 mph. Track and bedroom. Try not to hit the rev limiter too often. If it takes longer than that are you sure you know what you're doing?

I understand how the rears break on the Vs, but we have never had any problems with the rear. i guess maybe its the way we drive it and the way we set them up.

17-22k sounds pretty darn good to me, considering the hell that a V puts its tires through.

Mine had 9K miles and were just kissing the runbars. Sucked on snow. :)

14,300 through the end of last November (no burnouts), then it snowed on Thanksgiving! Put on Avon Tech 550 A/S mounted on Mille Miglias. The F1s still have maybe 3-5k left on them, but they're being bought back by Goodyear and credited toward four GS-D3s, so I'll never know exactly how much more.

Wow, some of you did even better than this old man!!! :worship:

How's this: 23,774 and still had 500 miles or so left. Lotsa highway, though and damned few burnouts (can't stand the wheel hop). Took delivery May 05 and just turned 28K! Nice car and I get to drive it a lot, too.

Injected Viagra through the valve stems, and they lasted longer, but the ride was stiff as hell.

i dont get how you guys get so many miles out of these tires. mine were bald showing metal spikes at 3500 miles! They came back like that after i got a new diff from sewell cadillac. I can't prove it, but I know they were ****ing around in my car. No apologies from the dealership, no confessions, no replacements...NOTHING
