I have contacted VOLANT PERFORMANCE reference status on their COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM for 05/06 STS 4.6L V-8. I was advised that they have made the kit and the parts are in tooling and the kit should have a part number and ready for release in about a month. Oh happy days will soon be here.

Any idea on pricing, and degree of difficulty to install?

Instructions on how to install will be included with each unit. Should be a simple installation. Exact cost has not been determined yet, probably $350/$400. I recontacted Volant 3/23/05 and was advised that the cool air box system is now in production and scheduled to be relased in 3 to 4 weeks.
