Is this normal? When I stomp on the gas going at about 20 to 30 MPH i get a delay of about .5 sec. Only when i have no pressure on the gas to full throttle does this happen. :bigroll: Any input would be appreciated!

I notice no delay with the drive by wire system, make sure your TC is off. Davidstan 03-17-06, 04:25 PM 3rd and 4th and TC is on. jlakowicz 03-17-06, 05:19 PM I went through this for weeks with StealthV. The problem is probably the MAP sensor. In my case when I open the throttle the timing is retarted way back and the car thinks the intake temperature is - 60 deg. I don't have the new MAP in yet but I have been told this is happening to the Vets. Its a cheap part, about $40, so its worth trying. Why wouldn't the computer pick this up and trip a MAP sensor code? jlakowicz 03-17-06, 08:24 PM I don't know why the error is not seen. It is dramaic on the EFILive logs, but only if you are looking for it. | |
