Has anyone heard of any production changes for the 2007 models? Usually, they start to leak out about this time.

I have not heard of any. Maybe some new colors. I think 2008 will see some kind of facelift, and I think a new interior. The chief of GM design, Ed Wellburn, has said we will see more mid-cycle refreshing throughout GM in the future, and '08 will mark the half way point of the usual 6 year life span of a vehicle. GM is building out more space to make more of their 6 speed automatic transmissions, so maybe that will be made standard on all STS's by '08?

I hope, they'll add heated rear seats.

The 05/06 both already have a rear heated seat option. Now adding the "ventilated" seat option to the back would be nice although the cabin is loud enough with both front seat fans running.

It's only on V8 Luxury. They should add it to V8 Luxury Performance and V8 Premium Luxury Performance packages.

Uhh.......Maybe we are confusing each other. All higher packages include features found on the lower ones unless replaced by a better option or are unavailable due to a special circumstance (ACC on V etc.). My 1SG PreLux most certainly has heated rear seats...

I have the 1se v8 package which includes heated rear seats.

I think ,it will rather be techically changes following 6 way speed transmission, some enhancing changes to the Northstar just as what GM did in 2000 STS and plus .
Maybe new colors will be available as well as new wood trim design

Thank you for the information! You're right. First I haven't found this option on Cadillac.com. Then I visited Edmunds.com and found it. But in any case, there are not enough options for the rear seats. They should add ventilation, 2-zone climate control, audio controls and massaging to them.

since their main market competitior is bmw 5/lexus GS/mercedes E/infitini M,
first thing they need to do is add more power since almost all cars in its class surpass the north* and they really need to do something about those plastic used in the top half of the interior trim. It just looks out of place for this class.

For those of us with heated steering wheels, I have heard a radio preset button will be added to the wheel. I just hope they do not mess with the cruise control stick

Since the 2007 Saturn Aura is getting a 6 speed automatic, you would think the '07 STS (SRX, XLR, and maybe CTS) would also.
