Well just traded the 99 DeVille for an 06 STS. I look so good in this car...hehehe
So guyz, and I havent seen this yet on here, what are the widest 20" tires I can put on the STS?
Ive seen where peeps are using 245/40/20 but thats narrower than the stock tire.
Could I go wider with a 19" than a 20"?
And I would guess an 8" wheel?

I too am putting 20" wheels on my 2005 STS. I like the Foose wheels, or one or two Dub wheels. I need to know can I run 245 on the front and 265 on the rear. Let me know what you come up with. Take care

Hey guys,

I did a 2005 STS V6 with 20x8.5 +35 offset wheels and 255/35/20 tires and there was plenty of room left for additional clearance.

If you go with a 19" wheel, these cars will comfortably fit a 19x9.5 wheel in the rear with no problems. A 275/30/19 will work with this setup in the rear.

Depending on what particular STS you have, some have the capability of fitting a 275/30/20 in the rear. Of course, making this rear 20" fitment work correctly will require you to purchase wheels with the correct offsets and wheel width in the rear.

i have an 06 sts awd and am looking for a set of 19s or 20s but am having a hard time finding wheels that will work on the car. i have called a few places and they have all recommended that i look at zenetti, which I did but couldnt find anything i really wanted. could you get back to me on any particular manufactures that i shouldnt have a problem with? thanks

What is the fastest U have had it up to with those wheels on it? I am only able to go to 108mph with 20 inch wheels..

what do the tires have to do with the speed? I hit 120 today on hwy just to see how it rode and it was like going 50
