View Full Version : How about these 22's

The seller claims it has a 5.5" lip. They are 22x10's and cost $1900 wheels and tires.I like them both but I'm leaning towards the chrome ones.

I would love to see a set of those on an Escalade. I love the black (for a black vehicle), and I WANT the chrome ones! Please buy them and tell me how you like them!!!

Wow. A 5.5" lip is huge. That will probably look awesome on your Escalade. I would say go for it. The price is good and the wheels look clean. See if you could find a picture of the wheels on a car. Good luck.

While searching around about these wheels I found a site that says the 22x9.5's have a 3.5" lip and the 22x10's have a 4.5" lip so I think its just a false ebay claim.Either way I like them alot for the price,I have a red Escalade but I think both will look very nice.Maybe I'll get one for each side since you will only see one angle at a time:)

The name of this seller on Ebay is Scott Starr. He owns an importing and wheel business in Florida. Those wheels are his own brand he imports. They look nice....but be aware that the quality of these wheels is along the same lines as Cabo/Player/RVM (his family also owns player wheel group) wheels. I seriously doubt if those wheels have a 5.5" lip....more like 4-4.5 at most. Scott gives great deals for those on a budget and most of his wheel designs look pretty nice. Hope this helps...so you can make an informed decision.

If you have anymore questions or would like pricing on any wheels....feel free to email me or PM me.

Thanks for the info.I've never bought rims bigger that 15" so I have no idea on quality of different brands. You say they compare to Cabo/Player/RVM?How do those companys hold up against brands such as TIS?Also what makes them lesser quality and what could I expect from buying them?Sorry for all the questions I just don't want to buy crap with my hard earned money:)

also how are Azuka's? do cheap rims make your steering weired or could that be a mismount or just wider tires?

Which size tire would you chose?
I have to admit I am looking for cheaper wheels and like that some of his other ones for my 04

Choose from 305x40R22, 305x45R22 or 285x45R22

Definately get the 45 series. Try the 305's first, but if they rub go with the 285. That only my opinion though. the 45 series offers a little more comfort than the sportier 40 series. The ride is a little stiffer with the 40 series tire, not to mention the 40 series doesn't close the wheel gap as much.

I went with the 45 series on mine looks great and rides very nice. You will probably need to trim the front plastic or mabye you could zip tie them out of the way.

I was searching ebay looking for pictures of Escalades with 22's and found the same wheels on the same color lade as mine,it would look sweet with a 2/3 drop. Also I think the tires are 305/40/22's.

For more Pictures.

I am seriously thinking of these for my black o4, I am just trying to decide black or chrome and 305 45 or 40.. any help is appreciated. Contacted seller and he said both chrome and black would be available wednesday.

Sweet go for it,I think the black on black would like nice.I'm thinking of getting the Chrome and possibly painting it to match.I'm gonna go with the 305/45/22 to help close up the gap a little. The 40's still look good though.
