Hey guys, anyone ever go up against one of these? One follows me on my daily commute, I see it 3 or 4 times a month. It's a suit driving it (obviously) and I'm sure he is way too busy flipping his real estate or selling stock to mess with a little old Cadillac...but one day we can only hope. Just looking for a perspective of the outcome. thanks.
You should take him hands down...easily for 60k less:eek:

i think the mas would win... its a nice thought to think the v would win... but i'd say the six figure car would win

Interesting, that thing is rated at 400 hp and around 315 lb tq. (don't quote me on it). Maserati gives very little performance specs on their website, guess i'll just have to get the guys attention somehow...hmmmmm

I do not know where you guys get your facts but you shold be able to beat him hands down.

I ran against one at Beaverun in summer 04. It's a 1.6 mile closed course. Lot's of tough curves and two nice straight runs.
I was straight stock at the time.
Ate him up in the curves and killed him on the straightaways.
I can't speak to his acceleration from a stop but he had nothing like the V's burst in 3rd.

I think that QP is the best looking sedan on the market (inside and outside), but it won't keep up with the V. Give him a go if you get the chance and write in to tell us about it.

Maserati = Baller. He knows that, he knows that you know that. Give him a run for his money and a nice look at your rear end.
