For the past 3 weeks my car has been hesitating slightly 94 sts wires were old I amused my self for a while by watching the little blue sparks jump all over the place then occasionally shocked myself into changing them. After completing the job and feeling rather proud of my beautiful caddy I preceded to reve the engine amusing myself further till I heard a loud Pop then began to see small traces of smoke coming from behind the engine? Looking closer I see a black plastic residue on a hot piece of metal and near a sensor a little lava plum so to speak as well? Any additional information would prove quiet helpful up until the paying for it part but what the hell are you gonna do right. We need our nice ass cars don't we.

I cant say I know what your talking about, but it sounds like something came loose..... I assume by your post you replaced the plugs and wires.... Maybe you got a coil pack loose, or something.... One of the coils could be bad......

Im not sure what the POP is, but it sounds electrical to me......
