Yeah I know, I really like this new IS. Much more bold and exciting than the outgoing model. Plus, its 3.5L V6 makes 306hp!

The interior is also stunning. Very posh, not as good as the LS430, but still a great bargain for the price! They improved greatly on the exterior, it now looks like a car I would drive.

My wife has been wanting either a Lexus or a Mercedes for awhile. They are building a Lexus dealership just a few miles from our house now. I wouldn't mind her having one of those at all. That's really a beautiful car.

I don't know, maybe it's my age or something, but that IS350 looks like a HotWheels car on steriods. Not impressed.

I know I've been MIA...I've just been doing other things. Once you stop for even a couple of days (at least for me) it's harder to get back into it. Once I fall behind on the threads I lose intrest LOL

I like the fron but not the rear, one of my friend have one. But I love the new LS they are luxurous. <- a word?
They have a 4.6L w/ 375HP. How do that compare with the Northstar.

Looking at Lexus' website the LS has a 4.3 liter V8 with 275 hp 312 lb ft, and the GS has the 4.3 with 300 hp and 325 lb ft. I can't seem to find any vehicle with 375 hp....maybe your friend has modded his to increase the hp?

It is an uninspired blob. They tacked some chrome window trim, a mildly ricey body kit, and a spoiler onto it, but it is still a blob. I'd much rather have a CTS or 3 series.

I was rather disappointed by the interior... They have a nice pearl silver/white paint. It has some nice lines, but it is not stunning for me. But that's because I like my CTS so much ;)

I think he may be referring to the new LS 460, I think its a 2007 model.

""Underneath its skin, the facts speak for themselves: a brand new 4.6 litre V8 with direct injection developing 380 bhp. Acceleration time of 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Top speed limited to 155 mph. Engine mated to the world's first 8-speed automatic gearbox. Fuel consumption of 25.0 mpg. VDIM fitted as standard. Instead of an options list as long as War and Peace, every conceivable electronic gadget appears to come as standard, with the exception of a voice-activated DVD SatNav system, a 19-speaker Mark Levinson stereo with a 7.1 surround sound system, and an 8-Gigabyte media server. Talk about Vorsprung durch technik; not even the Audi A8 is this advanced.""

I think we have to wait a little longer for the new generation STS to compete with this then... :D
