I booked two days with PDA www.pdadrivingschool.com (http://www.pdadrivingschool.com) at Watkins Glen on May 8-9. I was hoping other V's would join me. I ran the track with PDA two years ago with my supercharged G35. They were very professional, I learned how to drive the track and had a great time. Please let me know if you may be interested in attending.

sure!!! All types of cars will be there. You can book online. I e-mailed PDA and they told me I didn't have to pay until two weeks before the event if I registered online. Let me know if interested. I will be headed up the night before on Sunday 5/7.

I put it on the calendar...will confirm when the date gets closer. Looks like a lot of instructional/non-competitive dates available. What's the rate?

4DOORVET,

I will likely show up for the school. Having been to other schools, I can recommend WGI; PDA's schedule is timely. If you were happy with the instruction ... ?

I think there were about 4 black ones there too, but they were still driving over for the picture (damned slow color)!

I would, but my cast doesn't come off until the 15th. And I don't think I would feel comfortable racing with an un-rehabilitated right thumb. And I don't think others on the track would be comfortable with that idea either.:thepan:

Otherwise, I would be there in a heartbeat.

bigjoe, I don't it would be too much of a problem as long as there would be no pain to distract you and you wouldn't miss a gear shifting. I instructed a parpalegic in a modified S4 Tiptronic at the Glen last year. It was al ittle hairy as he only had about 30% use of his right hand and didn't really need it until turns 3-4 complex up the hill leading on the back stretch. He would let the wheel unload as we're pretty close to the guardrail and it would unleash the car slightly. I had him use his partial hand to dampen the transtion.

The V would love the Glen open spaces!
