I had my dad dig up some of his old photos with his Caddy. I thought you guys would get a kick out of them. My mom and dad are shown in the pics... circa 1958.

Those are some "classic" photos my old man never owned a caddy he was a chevy man himself, ill see if i can get them scanned to show some of his old vetts this is a good idea for a thread i wish i was born earlier and the pics are the closest i can get

Yeah, that be cool. Thanks. I was leaning more twards 53 because of the vertical chrome piece on the rear fender, but I'll by 50. Still some cool pics though. The one of you dad lean' on the car is classic.

Scrapyard - Yeah, I absolutely LOVE that pic. I remembered him showing it to me when I was a little girl and I asked him what kind of car it was and he just GLOWED when he talked about that car.

I have another pic of my mom sitting on the hood of a 54 Caddy. It's an awesome pic but I can't load it, it's too big.

ME TOOO hope people can keep the pics coming i am trying to find ones of the parents and there cars.

Those are pretty cool. Nice piece of nostalgia. I wish I had cool pics like that of my parents. But I think the coolest cars my dad ever had was an MGB and the POS Mercure that burnt to the ground some years ago. Got a lot of pics of the old 81 Dodge wagon though. AKA, the Banana Barge, LOL. Although I've been told stories of the 59 Fleetwood my Granddad had that my pop used to drive the hell out of. Probably were I get it. That and the 49 Fleetwood sit'n in my aunts garage I'm dying to get my hands on.

I wish we had more pics of those old cars, but I think that was it. Hey, in about 40 years we'll all be showing our grandchildren cool old pics of OUR classic 2004 cars!! lol

I found one that I took back in October of 1979.

That's a '79 Eldorado, and a '77 Sedan DeVille. Mom drove the Eldo, and Dad let me drive the Sedan on dates. Lotsa memories.

Here are a couple more.

My first baby, a 1964 Ford Ranchero with a '64 Comet front-end. It also had the Comet 289 in it.

Also pictured, my 1988 Saleen Convertible, #513. Forgive the "whale tail," it was 1989, and I just didn't know any better.
